Translation: Every group has terms...these happen to be ours.
Anyone can create an account but your account does not do anything unless you actually register with Corvallis Indoor Park (CIP) on registration days. That's when your account gets put to use helping you to stay in the loop and helping get to know others and staying in touch with the Board Members and them with you. So...if you're just a joe-shmo wanting an account but have no interest with CIP, you're welcome here but there isn't much for you to actually do...sorry.
Translation: This is for CIP Members and those interested.
No matter what, the Board Members can see your information. When you become a current member you are then able to see all other current member's 1. FIRST AND LAST NAME, 2. PRIMAY AND SECONDARY EMAIL, 3. PHONE NUMBER, 4. PROFILE PICTURE. This is the default setting of all accounts so that you can communicate easily with others in the group. This is a family, anyway. You can, if you so desire, make your account a PRIVATE ACCOUNT. That can be done in your account by checking the box in EDIT ACCOUNT under YOUR ACCOUNT. We really would rather you didn't, though. Sharing our information is a great way to connect our group. This is family and we hope you feel comfortable being a part. However, if there are safety concerns you may use this feature but YOUR INFORMATION IS STILL VISIBLE TO BOARD MEMBERS.
Translation: Those who are current members can see other current members unless there are safety concerns.
Your information will remain on our system, even if you are an INACTIVE MEMBER, unless you yourself delete the account or our Board Members delete it.
Translation: Unless the board members or you delete your account, it's gonna stick around.
We try hard to secure your data. We care about the security and safety of the information on this site. However, we cannot guarantee that persons unauthorized won't be able to circumvent our security. If you feel your information has been compromised please contact us immediately.
Translation: We do our best but nobody is or can be 100% secure.
